Hi! I’m Shadrach.
I started pedicabbing in 2012 along the SF waterfront. A few years later I bought my first pedicab and learned more about transport and maintenance. Fast forward a few more years and I started pedicabbing music festivals like Coachella and EDC with some of the top industry professionals and companies. Happy to say that now I own one of the most beautiful and top performing pedicabs in the world! Come take a ride and see. Why Ratchet Rickshaw? Because we keep it tight!
What is a Pedicab you ask?
Pedicabs are an alternative way of transportation, more environmentally friendly than most anything else. My pedicab is basically a tricycle propelled by pedaling, and believe me, we go in style. Pedicab rides are a great way to have a unique experience where you can enjoy a comfortable ride without any worry.

Pricing
A 50 minute tour is rated is $90 for two adults, $10 per each additional adult and children under 10 are free, up to six passengers.

How much does a ride cost?
Tours start at $90 for a 40-60 minute ride for two adults, $10 per each additional adult and children under 10 are free, up to six passengers.
How many people can ride in a pedicab together?
I can take up to 6 adults. Each bench is 48” wide. I also have other 2 and 3 person options available.
Where do you ride?
Primarily Alameda, but get in touch about other (nearby) locations and we can probably make it happen.
How can I pay you?
Cash is preferred, but I do take Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cashap. Cards are accepted.
Can I advertise my business on a pedicab?
Absolutely! Send an email and we can work something out.
